前言

本书受国家旅游局委托,由锦江联营公司技校编写,供旅游中等职业技术学校学生进一步提高语言能力之用。本书共16单元,每单元包括课文和对话两部分,内容主要结合旅游服务,较多地介绍这方面常用的词语和语法现象。本书的语法重点是定语从句、名词性从句、动词的非谓语形式和虚拟语气。练习部分包括课文复习练习、语法练习、以及一篇难度与课文相仿的阅读材料。在本册的最后几课中,还增添了其他类型的综合练习,帮助测验语言综合运用能力。书后附有与专业有关的常用词语表以及英美用语对照表,供学习及工作时参考。本书在编写过程中,得到了主管单位领导的关心以及南京旅游专科学校、沈阳旅游职业高中、厦门旅游学校、岳阳旅游局、北京国际饭店等兄弟学校及旅游单位的关心和支持,在此谨表感谢。
