Yitzhak Katznelson于巴黎大学获得博士学位。他曾执教于加州大学伯克利分校、希伯来大学和耶鲁大学，现任斯坦福大学数学教授。他的数学研究领域包括调和分析、遍历理论和可微分动力系统。
