这是一本非常好的微分流形入门书。全书从一些基本的微积分知识入手，然后一点点深入介绍，主要内容有：流形介绍、多变量函数和映射、微分流形和子流形、流形上的向量场、张量和流形上的张量场、流形上的积分法、黎曼流形上的微分法以及曲率。书后有难度适中的习题，全书配有很多精美的插图。 本书非常适合初学者阅读，可作为数学系、物理系、机械系等理工科高年级本科生和研究生的教材。作者简介： William M.Boothby华盛顿大学圣路易斯分校数学系荣休教授。于1949年在密歇根大学获得博士学位，师出拓扑学大师、沃尔夫奖得主Hassler Whitney门下。除在华盛顿大学任教40余年外，他还在世界各地讲授微分流形、深受学生爱戴。

很早就想得到此书，因为它是几乎被所有微分几何和微分流形老师所推荐的参考书。苦于图书馆只有本书的很早的版本，而且质量很不好，在亚马逊上看到了本书的第二版修订版，很想得到，但是价格和运货方式实在难以接受。偶然看到此书影印版在国内出版，真是十分开心，买到后觉得的确不负所望。
微分几何入门教材，经典！
这是一本微分流行经典入门教材，也是陈省身先生推荐的参考书。值得研读
作者不愧是陈省身大师的学生，学写的深入浅出。尤其适合初学者。
这是一本适合从零开始学习的书籍，只要有一点微积分的知识就能看懂了。推荐~
读着很享受，难度适合初学，估计没有更简单的书了吧

黎曼几何的入门教材
这本书是香港科技大学李泽湘教授在他的专著《机器人操作的数学导论》推荐的，觉得还不错。
买这本书主要是为了研究李群方面的东西经典的一本教材

本书是微分流形用的较多的教材之一，内容很丰富，只是可能作者的英语功底太好，语言显得稍稍有些繁琐，甚至啰嗦
不过学微分几何有难度
