本书共36个单元，每单元分成Text A和Text B两部分，具体内容有：Text A内容包括会话常用句型、语言点、练习答案、课文参考译文四个部分。会话常用句型是针对每单元会话的补充句型，以便学生做口语替换练习。语言点是对每单元重点词语和句型的详细讲解，供学习参考用。Text B内容包括语言点、练习答案、课文参考译文、语法或写作练习答案四个部分。各单元习题的题干全部编排在主干教材相应的知识点后，此书只提供参考答案。

TextA注意你的行为举止 最近有三个外国绅士在英国的公交车站等车。大约五分钟后，他们所等的公交车来了。他们刚要上车，身后突然出现了很响的嘈杂声。人们冲上公共汽车，并试图把他们挤出队伍。一些人冲他们喊叫着。公共汽车售票员冲下汽车看出了什么问题。那三个外国人看上去一头雾水，显得很尴尬。没有人告诉他们英国排队上车的习惯是第一个在车站等候的人应该第一个上车。 仅仅学习一国的语言是不够的。如果你想有一个令人愉快的旅行，你就应该尽可能多地了解东道国家的礼仪文化。你可能会惊异地发现他们的礼仪文化与你自己国家的礼仪文化有着如此大的差异。一个去印度的参观者最好记住那里的人认为吃饭用左手递食物不礼貌。左手应该用来给自己洗浴。同样在印度，你可能会看见一个人向其他人摇头，便认为他是不同意。其实在印度的许多地方摇头意味着同意。在保加利亚，当别人为你提供饮料时如果你点头的话，你很可能会喝不上水。 在那样的国家，摇头表示肯定而点头则表示否定。在阿拉伯半岛的一些国家的餐桌上，你将发现杯中的酒一喝完就会重新被加满。如果你认为你已经喝得足够多了，那你应该把杯子拿在手里轻轻的摇动或用手捂住杯口。 在欧洲当你坐着与人谈话时，甚至是在一个重要的会议上，跷腿是很正常的事情。然而，在泰国这样做很可能引起麻烦。人们认为在这样的场合下，这种姿势太随便了。在泰国你尽量不要去摸一个成年人的脑袋——那正是泰国人所禁忌的。 对于女性的态度也因地而异。举例来说，在日本，男人晚上出去娱乐而把妻子留在家里是很正常的事情。在欧洲是不会有这种做法的。 因此，当你在国外旅游的时候，了解该国的风俗习惯是非常有用的。
