China, with a recorded history of more than 5,000 years, is
one of the four ancient civilizations of the world. From the time
of Xia dynasty in the 21st century BC to the late Spring and Autumn
period, society was slavery based. From the time of the Warring
States period to the Qing dynasty, with Qin, Western Han, Eastern
Han, Three Kingdom, WesternJin, Eastern Jin, Southern and Northern
dynasties, Sui, Tang,Five dynasties, Song, Liao, Jin, Yuan, and
Ming in between,society was feudal. On October 1, 1949, the
People's Republic of China was established.
China is a country with vast territory, beautiful
landscape,long history and splendid culture. It has rich natural
attractions and numerous historical sites: the Great Wall running
6,300 kilometers, the terracotta warriors buried with the First Qin
Emperor, the majestic Imperial Palaces of the Ming and Qing
dynasties, etc. All these famous culture treasures and natural
attractions have become the precious heritage of the Chinese nation
and the whole world.
