　　There are varied eating habits in our world. You can easily try different kinds of exotic foods in the neighborhood of where you live， but not until you get a chance to travel to other countries will you get to truly experience those different eating habits in person. As the old saying goes， "When in Rome， do as the Romans do." Learning more about different eating habits of other countries in advance will do you no harm. In the following， a few eating habits will be introduced to you as some examples.　　Most Eastern people mainly live on rice. In general， Asians eat rice almost every meal. When you go to Japan or Korea， you may find Japanese or Koreans eat as much rice as we Chinese do. In addition to rice， they eat noodles and dumplings as well. You can easily find something to your appetite when traveling in these two countries.　　When traveling in Southeast Asia， you might lose your appetite because of the hot weather. But dont worry. Their spicy and sour food will not let you down. Aside from that， you can always find a night market where you can enjoy different kinds of food at a time in most Asian countries.　　As for Westerners， eating habits differ in each country as well. A typical American breakfast includes cereal， toast or omelet. Fast foods such as hot dogs， burgers and sandwiches that you can also grab-and-go are popular. They are usually served with carbonated soft drinks. Steaks， mashed-potato and seafood can also be found on an Americans dining table.　　Most of the British wont ignore having a cup of morning tea after getting up from bed in order to get rid of their drowsiness. A traditional British breakfast has eggs， sausages， bacon and toast. British are dainty about afternoon tea in particular. Inviting friends to enjoy afternoon tea together is a common activity of their social life.
