《国际经贸组织（学生用书）》以情节为主的文章为课文蓝本，辅以国际组织的介绍，从而构成一个比较完整的整体。本教材涉及重要的全球性和区域性的国际经济贸易组织，兼收个别非经济类的全球性组织。 本教材共分十五课，每课包括热身问题、课文、词汇、注解、练习和补充读物等六个部分。我们采用报纸、杂志以及互联网提供的文章，经节选（但未作修改）后作为课文，每篇的长度在一千词左右，然后辅以注解，并配以练习编写而成，供已经掌握基础英语的学生使用，补充他们经贸方面的知识，同时提高他们的语言运用能力。
