内容提要
随着改革开放和对外交往的发展与扩大，英语在我国基础教育中的地
位和社会发展中的作用越来越重大。但是，正如李岚清副总理96年6月
在外语座谈会上的讲话中所指出的：我国目前外语教学水平、教学方法普
遍存在“费时较多、收效较低”的问题，亟需研究改进。从某种意义上
说，普及外语和培养外语人才、改进外语教学方法和提高外语教学水平已
经不是一般的教学问题，而是影响我国对外开放方针更好实施和推动我国
经济和社会发展的重大问题。外语教学中的教材问题、教师问题、语言环
境问题等很重要，但最重要的可能还是教学方法的问题。我总在想，什么
时候我们能够找到一种适合于中国人更有效地学习外语的方法就好了。
为了落实李岚清副总理的指示，帮助我国的中学生学好英语，我们吸
取当代记忆冠军关牧林快速记忆的精髓，借鉴有关专家的外语教学经验，
按照“学习迁移”的规律，历时数载编写了这套中国当代记忆冠军关牧林
英语速记丛书，本书《初中英语同步多功能记忆手册》与现行初中英语教
材同步，分年级按单元编写，每单元包括：知识点提要、疑难点解析、学
习方法指导、课后练习点拨与答案等项内容。它具有①帮助学生记忆；②
按单元对知识点进行提要，对疑难点进行解析；③系统介绍语法；④对重
点词和易混词进行辨析；⑤课后练习给出答案及解题方法点拨；⑥书后附
词语辨析和语法知识汇总检索；以便读者查寻等多种功能。本书取百家之
长，成一家体系。为了帮助读者记忆，本书在对课文进行透彻解析的基础
上，对同义词进行了比较辨析；对语法知识采取了英语与汉语比较的方法
以便于读者借鉴汉语知识掌握英语语法；对易混知识点进行了重点比较说
明，对有关知识点还给出了巧学巧记的具体方法，堪为中学英语教辅图书
中的上品。实验证明：使用本书对于克服我国英语教学“费时较多、收效
较低”的弊端，提高我国中学英语教学水平有独特功效。
