This monograph (the Proceedings of the China Association for Science and Technology, Vol.5) collects 19 selected papers presented at the 10th Annual Conference of China Association for Science and Technology, Zhengzhou, Henan, September 17-19, 2008, and 74 selected papers published in Chinese journals sponsored by the member societies of the China Association for Science and Technology. These papers cover the following aspects: Mechanics, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Electrics and Communication, Biology, Agricultural Science, Forestry, Ecology, Medicine and Pharmacology, Environmental Science and Technology, Safety Science and Technology, and Miscellaneous.
