《大学体验英语综合教程课堂辅导2》是与高等院校教材《大学体验英语综合教程2》配套的辅导用书，是根据教育部颁布的《大学英语课程教学要求（试行）》和《全国大学英语四、六级考试改革方案（2005年试行）》，由长期从事英语教学的资深教师共同打造。 本辅导用书紧扣《大学体验英语综合教程》主教材，指导自学，辅助训练，集四、六级应试辅导与交际运用于二体，为学生英语学习和实践提供了理想的辅导平台。在巩固主教材内容的基础上，该辅导用书既注重学生语言能力的培训，又兼顾提高学生英语应试水平；充分考虑到训练学生实际使用语言进行交际的能力，尤其是注重口头和书面实用表达能力的训练与培养；强化相关知识的学习和掌握，注重学前、学中和学后过程的连贯与互补。 该辅导用书共分4册，与《大学体验英语综合教程（1-4）》主教材同步。每册共8个单元，每个单元由4个部分构成，每个部分通过不同的途径相对应于主教材中的Listen and Talk、Readand Explore、Wfite and Produce等设计模块，展开新的操练平台。每个单元的构成与特点如下： 1．知识准备：围绕听说热身，进行单元导入，背景知识介绍，加入课文导入答案及注解， 另附交际实战的设计模块，涵盖主题交际技能和高频词汇应用能力的测试，引导学生 运用新语汇，提炼重点，记忆精华。 2．课文学习：围绕A、B两篇文章，以阅读导引为辅导宗旨，设有课文相关知识介绍、词 汇充电、其他单词与短语讲解、难点精讲、篇章分析、参考译文、课文练习答案与详 解。篇章分析包括课文概要，网络连接，深化理解，指导写作。 3．跟踪训练：汇集本单元出现的高频词汇，结合四、六级考试的真题考点，演示词汇 学习的实际运用。阅读训练围绕本单元的阅读专项技能训练设计问题，引导学生在 实践中掌握阅读技巧。结合阅读技能训练，考核学生的阅读理解能力与书面英语表 达能力。 4．精品集锦：精选本单元出现的或与本单元主题有关的英语新兴口语和语汇。
注重实用表达能力的培养：在语言基础训练中加大听力和口语的学习内容，加强实用阅读、实用会话、实用写作的训练，培养学习者英语综合运用能和在涉外交际中的实用表达能力。 注重教材的可操练性：选文短小精悍，生动有趣，便于听、说、读、写、译的训练；练习设计层层深入，通过训练达到学懂、会用的教学目的。 强调以人为本，突出“个性化”学习：注重学习者在整个学习过程中自主学习的引导，强调学习者在体验语言的立体化环境中获得语言知识，体验用英语表达和交流思想的美妙。 重视文化知识的学习，培养“跨文化意识”：提供大量真实的图片、富有时代感的文字材料以及英语国家丰富的文化背景，开拓学习者的视野。 立体化教材为英语学习提供全方位服务：文字版、网络版、电子教案以及多媒体学习课件等提供了立体、互动的英语学习环境。

It is all very. well to blame traffic jams, the cost of petrol and the quick pace of modern life, but manners on the roadsare becoming horrible. Everybody knows that the nicest men become monsters behind the wheel. It is all very well, again,to have a tiger in the tank, but to have one in the drivers seat is another matter altogether. Perhaps the situation calls for a"Be Kind to Other Drivers" campaign; otherwise it may get completely out of hand. Road politeness is not only good manners, but good sense too. It takes the most cool-headed and good-tempered ofdrivers to resist the temptation to revenge when subjected to uncivilized behavior. On the other hand, a little politeness goesa long way towards relieving the tensions of motoring. A friendly nod or a wave of acknowledgment of good will andtolerance is necessary in modern traffic conditions. But such acknowledgments of politeness are all too rare today. Manydrivers nowadays dont even seem able to recognize politeness when they see it. However, misplaced politeness can also be dangerous. Typical examples are the driver who brakes violently to allowa car to emerge from a side street at some hazard to following traffic; or the man who waves a child across a zebra crossinginto the path of oncoming vehicles that may be unable to stop in time. The same goes for encouraging old ladies to cross theroad wherever and whenever and whenever they care to.
