Then, pick up two pencils and say, "Two". Repeat the same procedure to revise the first six numbers. • Ask Ss to draw a 2x2 grid in their notebooks and draw up to six circles in each box. • Draw an example on the board and go around the class to ensure that all Ss have drawn the grid and the circles correctly. • Explain to Ss that you will call out numbers in random order. Ss have to count the circles and if the number you call out is the same as the number of circles they have in a box, they cross out that particular box. The first S to get all his numbers called out and shout "Bingo!", wins. 8 Fun Book • On page 6, after Ss have traced the numbers, pointed and counted the candles on each cake, divide them into pairs. Explain to Ss that SA thinks of a picture without telling SB. SE asks, "How old are you?" and SA answers according to how many candles there are on the boy's/girl's cake he has chose Then, SB has to point to the correct picture. Ss swap roles. • Write each S's name on separate pieces of paper and hand them out. Get Ss to copy their name on the hat on p. 7. • After Ss have written their names they glue/stick the two strips of paper and adjust, according to the size of their head. Ss wear their hats and ask each other, "What's your name?"MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE • Explain to Ss that they are going to listen to the Goodbye Song, which they will hear at the end of every lesson. • Play the song once to familiarise Ss with the tune. Get Ss to hum the tune. •Play the song one more time and encourage Ss to sing. • Sing along with the Ss. • Alternatively, if short of time you can play the song as Ss leave the classroom.
