版权页：插图：In 1978, China's Gross Domestic Product （GDP） accounted for onlyone percent of world economy, whereas its share rise 5 percent in 2007,same year, China's share of global trade was less than 1 percent andshare jumped to 8 percent. China's development has opened a hugemarket for international capital attracting about 780 billion dollars of netforeign investment over the last 3 decades. Direct overseas investmentby Chinese companies had also grown substantially amounting to 21.16billion US dollars in early 2006, in which, non financial investment was17.63 billion USD （making up 83.3%）, an increase of 43.3% over 2005.China's development has boosted growth of global economy and trade.With imports growing at an average annual rate of 16.7 percent since1978, it has become the world's third largest import market and Asia's topimport market. China now contributes to more than 10 percent of globaleconomic growth and more than 12 percent of global trade expansion. Bythe end of 2006, over 5,000 entities had established nearly 10 thousandenterprises in 172 countries and regions. The direct foreign investmenthad then also grown to an accumulated 90.63 billion USD among whichnon-financial amounted to 75.02 billion USD and financial amountedto 15.61 billion USD making up 82.8% and 17.2% of the investmentoverseas respectfully.
