《新理念旅游英语情景听说》是为大学英语通识教育课程体系专门开发的教材，可供中高级英语学习者使用。它和《经典旅游景观导游词赏析与口译》是姊妹篇，亦可用作旅游院校专业英语课程的配套教材。
《新理念旅游英语情景听说》共分为八个单元。旅游情景听力模块包括机场服务、住宿接待、餐饮服务、购物服务、旅行咨询与预订、游程商定、现场导游1、现场导游2。旅游情景口语模块包括常用旅游目的地、酒店服务、中国饮食文化、纪念品、祥瑞动植物、传说与人物掌故、传统节日、传统服饰与中国戏曲。
黄金葵，女，1976年8月出生，汉族，北京市人，祖籍广东省江门市。1994-1998年就读于南开大学旅游学系英语（旅游）专业（现为外国语学院翻译系），文学学士；2002-2004年在清华大学外语系外国语言学及应用语言学专业进修硕士课程；2004-2005年留学于英国诺丁汉大学教育学院MA-ELT专业，文学硕士。1998-2006年任教于北京城市学院。2006年至今任教于首都体育学院。主要研究方向：旅游英语、教材设计与评估、休闲文化与翻译研究。
