作者简介
丁其林（奇领），新华通讯
社主任记者。1957年9月出生，
1982年毕业于安徽大学外语系，
此后曾在蚌埠卫生学校和蚌埠
教育学院教授英语。1987年起
就读于中国社会科学院研究生
院新闻系，专攻英语新闻采编，
1990年毕业并获得法学硕士学
位。作者从1990年起在新华社
对外新闻编辑部先后从事社会
新闻、北京新闻、突发事件、民
族、政法、外事等领域的新闻报
道，并从事过儿年的对外新闻
报道的研究工作。数年来，作者
采写中英文新闻稿件两千余条
并为有关刊物撰写、翻译和编
译过不少文章。1998年起，作者
开始在新华社中国特稿社为海
外报刊杂志采写英文特稿。
