2012年5月，当代世界研究中心与德国罗莎?卢森堡基金会在北京联合举办题为“国际金融危机与资本主义新变化、新调整”的国际研讨会，来自德国、英国、希腊、意大利以及中国的20多位专家学者参加。与会专家学者围绕金融危机对中国和欧洲的影响、资本主义危机根源以及资本主义的发展前景等问题进行深入研讨。本书系与会专家提交研讨的论文集，中、英双语出版，前部分为中文，后部分为英文。
