《大学物理实验（双语教学用书）》是为大学物理实验课程进行双语教学而编写的一本实用教材。《大学物理实验（双语教学用书）》共分5个部分：物理实验之基本要点，力学，振动、波及热，电学，光学。书后附有部分有关的实用性附录。《大学物理实验（双语教学用书）》内容简明扼要，采用的实验仪器设备均为国内一般高校物理实验室的常用设备，且英语纯正。各高校可直接采用本书作为实行双语教学的大学物理实验课程教材。

版权页：插图：Sometimes the precision you can actually achieve in a measurement is less than what istheoretically possible.In other words, your uncertainty is not determined by the precisionmeasure of the instrument, but is somewhat larger because of other factors. Suppose you aremeasuring the distance between two dots on a page with a ruler. If the ruler has a precisionmeasure of 0.5mm, but the dots are non-uniform blobs which are several millimeters wide,then your elective uncertainty is going to be perhaps a few millimeters. When you find yourselfin this situation, you should note why you must quote a larger uncertainty than might be expec-ted, and how you have determined its value. When taking measurements, one can usually esti-mate a reading to the nearest 1/2 of the smallest division marked on the scale. This quantity isknown as the precision measure of the instrument. For a digital device, you can measure to theleast significant digit.
